Carl Gowtage

Carl graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2011. He then completed his vocational training year and worked in a couple of practices in the Manchester area gaining experience prior to starting work at White Friars House in December 2016 before joining us at The Willows in late 2023.

Carl is passionate about providing the best possible care for his patients. To demonstrate this he has undertaken further exams to achieve the MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013 and then a Post-Graduate certificate in advanced restorative dentistry from the renowned Tipton Training Academy in 2019.

He also regularly attends courses to update and broaden his skills and can provide cosmetic treatments such as:

• Short-term orthodontic treatment with Invisalign Go clear aligners

• Composite bonding treatment including composite veneer makeovers with the SmileFast technique

• Tooth whitening with both the Enlighten and Zoom whitening systems

Carl lives on the Wirral with his wife and two young children. He enjoys playing and watching most sports including football, cricket and golf. In his spare time, he also enjoys running and cycling and supports Derby County FC.
